The 78th annual ABCA Convention is slated for January 6-9, 2022 at McCormick Place in Chicago! This will mark the eighth time in history that the ABCA Convention has been held in Chicago and first time since 2013.

All coaches that register for the Convention in Chicago or get live video streaming will once again receive the entire clinic video set after the Convention. All other ABCA members will receive access to the on-demand video set on Monday, May 23.

Anyone who is unsure about travel to Chicago in January may register for the Convention, with the option to get a full refund for the registration if canceled by Wednesday, December 1. Registrants may also convert their registration to live video streaming any time by Tuesday, January 4. Any hotel reservations canceled by Wednesday, December 1 will also receive a full refund of the one-night deposit from the hotel. There is no financial risk to getting registered!

The festivities will kick off on Thursday, Jan. 6 with the opening of the ABCA Trade Show and the Expo Theater. The ABCA Trade Show will feature more than 300 baseball companies displaying state-of-the-art equipment and services, releasing new products and showcasing the latest and greatest in innovative services, technology and more! Many of the companies will be unveiling new products for the first time and offering special sales as part of the ABCA Trade Show! The Expo Theater will have clinics throughout a three-day span with product demos, training and releases by ABCA partners and exhibitors.

ABCA Second Vice President Jim Schlossnagle and Third Vice President Matt Noone of Babson College are working on an excellent lineup of speakers for the 23 General Session clinics presented by Wilson/ATEC. The General Session clinics will get underway on Friday, Jan. 7 with a presentation by the 2021 NCAA Div. I National Champion and head coach of the Mississippi State Bulldogs, Chris Lemonis. The General Session clinics will run through the morning of Sunday, Jan. 9.

The Youth Coaches Session will run concurrently on Friday, Jan. 7 and Saturday, Jan. 8. The Youth Coaches Session, which is presented by GameChanger will have nearly 15 presentations tailored specifically for coaches of youth-level teams up to age 14.

Following each of the clinic presentations in both the General Session and Youth Coaches Session, the presenter will host a Question and Answer breakout with all attendees.

Other events during the weekend include the ABCA Hall of Fame Banquet to honor the Lefty Gomez Award recipient and the ABCA Hall of Fame Class of 2021 & Class of 2022. Additionally, there will be Divisional Coaches Meetings & Rookie Coaches Mentorship on Thursday evening, a Coaches' Networking Social in the ABCA Trade Show on Friday evening and Hot Stove Panel Discussions on Friday and Saturday night!

There is no better educational clinic experience for a baseball coach than attending the ABCA Convention. However, for those members who can't make it in-person this year, we're bringing the clinics to you, LIVE! ABCA members who are unable to attend the 2022 Convention in Chicago can register to live stream the clinics for two full days on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 7-8, and for a half day on Sunday, Jan. 9! The live stream will feature all 23 main-stage clinic presentations as well as the 14 Youth Coaches Session clinics.
